Delete your account & data

This page explains how users of the Aura app can request that their account and associated personal data are deleted.
How to request deletion
- Email hadise.75.sh@gmail.com from the same email address you use to sign in to Aura.
- Use the subject line: Aura account deletion request.
- Include your Aura account email and (optional) display name so we can verify the request.
- We will confirm by email, then delete your account and associated data. Typical completion time is within 30 days of a verified request (often sooner).
Data that is deleted
After we verify your request, we delete or permanently anonymize:
- Account login credentials and authentication records
- Profile details (email, display name, onboarding choices)
- Saved quotes, favourite yoga sessions, and prayer or practice history tied to your account
- App settings and reminder preferences stored for your account
- Tester-programme signup records associated with your email (if any)
Data that may be kept
Limited legal / safety records
We may keep minimal records required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance (for example, a log that a deletion request was completed). These do not include your full practice content once deletion is processed.
Aggregated diagnostics
Crash and analytics systems may retain de-identified or aggregated technical data that cannot reasonably identify you.
Retention period
Personal account and practice data are kept while your account is active. After a verified deletion request, we complete deletion within 30 days. Any limited legal or security records we must retain are kept only as long as needed for that purpose, then removed or anonymized.
